This was the first layout of the entire group. It was inspired by the Dutch Industrial Narrow Gauge Museum in Erica. For the first time we tried to work in a different scale, a completely different theme and trying (for us) new materials. The rails and points are scratch built and it was a challenge to show the typical bumpy ride of trains on peat more. The buildings are realized on actual drawings from local and provincial archives. The locos are partly from British suppliers and partly scratch built. Thanks to Jan Hein we could realize the typical peat wagons by using a Saemann brass etching device and our own drawings.
